RPW (Roll-away Collision Warning)

RPW (Roll-away Collision Warning)

  • Function: During hill-hold or temporary parking, it monitors the vehicle for any tendency to roll away unexpectedly and issues a rapid warning to prevent rear-end collisions or other hazards caused by vehicle roll-back.
  • Warning Trigger Condition: When the vehicle is moving at low speed or is stationary (speed below 5 km/h), the system immediately triggers a warning if the vehicle drifts, resulting in an excessively small gap (e.g., less than 0.5 meters) between it and the vehicle ahead or behind.
  • Warning method: Emits a short alert tone.
